Getting Started with Your Dedicated WireGuard Server

Last updated 14 Mar 2026 ยท 7 views

A Dedicated WireGuard VPN Server gives you your own private VPN server with full control over user management and port forwarding. Unlike a shared VPN, your server is exclusively yours โ€” no other customers share the same IP address or resources.

What's Included

Your dedicated server comes with:

  • A dedicated public IP address that only you use
  • Unlimited WireGuard user creation (one per device)
  • Unlimited port forwarding via iptables
  • Full WireGuard protocol support with modern encryption
  • Management via the PremierVPN client portal โ€” no SSH or command-line knowledge needed

Accessing Your Server

  1. Log in to the PremierVPN Client Portal.
  2. On your Dashboard, look for the "WireGuard Servers" link in the Quick Links panel. This only appears once a server has been assigned to your account.
  3. Click "WireGuard Servers" to see your assigned servers.
  4. Click "Manage Server" on the server you want to configure.

Server Details

On the management page you will see your server's details in the right-hand sidebar, including the public IP address, WireGuard port, internal subnet, location, and hardware specifications.

What to Do Next

Before you can connect to your server, you need to create at least one WireGuard user. Each user represents a device (laptop, phone, gaming PC, etc.) and gets its own unique configuration file.

See the article "Creating and Managing WireGuard Users" for step-by-step instructions.
