PremierVPN for macOS is a native app available on the Apple App Store. It supports macOS 13.0 (Ventura) and later on both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.
Download
Visit the Downloads page in your portal and tap the App Store badge to install.
Signing In
Sign in with your portal credentials — the same email and password you use at portal.premiervpn.net. If you have 2FA enabled, enter your 6-digit authenticator code when prompted.
VPN Configuration Permission
On first launch, macOS will ask to add a VPN configuration. Click Allow and authenticate with your Mac password or Touch ID. This is a one-time setup required by macOS for any VPN app.

Tip: Enable Kill Switch and Connect on Demand together for always-on protection.
Troubleshooting
- Can't connect: Check internet, try a different server, check System Settings → VPN
- Internet stops after disconnecting: Toggle Kill Switch off, disconnect, turn it back on
- VPN permission missing: Reinstall from App Store to trigger the permission prompt again
