Getting Started with SlipNet on Android

Last updated 03 May 2026 15 views 📡 📡 SlipNet — Anti-Censorship Tunnels

What You Need

  • An active PremierVPN VPN subscription
  • An Android phone or tablet
  • The SlipNet app (free download)

Step 1: Download SlipNet

Download the latest SlipNet APK from the official releases page. You may need to enable Install from unknown sources in your Android settings (Settings → Security → Unknown sources).

The download link is available in your PremierVPN portal under SlipNet in the sidebar.

Step 2: Activate Your Connection in the Portal

  1. Log in to portal.premiervpn.net
  2. Click SlipNet in the sidebar
  3. Click Activate on a server (Germany or Finland)
  4. Your connection URIs will be generated automatically

Step 3: Import a Connection URI

  1. In the portal, find the list of connection URIs (labelled by protocol: DNSTT, VayDNS, Slipstream, etc.)
  2. Tap Copy next to the URI you want (we recommend starting with DNSTT socks)
  3. Open the SlipNet app on your phone
  4. Tap the + button
  5. Select Import from URI
  6. Paste the URI and tap Import
  7. The profile will appear in your server list

We recommend importing multiple protocols (at least DNSTT and VayDNS) so you have fallback options if one gets blocked.

Step 4: Connect

  1. Select your imported profile (e.g. dnstt-socks)
  2. Tap Connect
  3. Wait a few seconds — once connected, a VPN icon will appear in your status bar
  4. Open a browser and visit any website to verify you're online

Important for Users in Iran

If you're in Iran or another country that filters DNS, you'll need to scan for working DNS resolvers before connecting. See the articles "How to Find Working DNS Resolvers" and "How to Set Global DNS Override in SlipNet" for detailed instructions.
