The browser proxy comes with an active PremierVPN plan. It sends this browser's traffic through a PremierVPN server. Other apps on your device aren't affected. To protect your whole device, use the PremierVPN app.
Sign in
- Click the shield icon and open the Proxy tab.
- Enter your PremierVPN email and password, and click Sign in. If you use two-factor sign-in, enter the Authenticator code when asked.
- Firefox only: Firefox asks permission to send your email to PremierVPN. Click Allow, otherwise you can't sign in.
Signed up with Google or Apple? You need a password first. In the portal, go to Settings, then Portal password.
Turn the proxy on
- On the Proxy tab, switch on Browser proxy.
- Choose a location under Server.
- Protect checks the connection. When it works, you'll see Websites see followed by the server's address, marked Via PremierVPN.
Your proxy login is set up and renewed for you, so there's nothing to copy or type in. Our proxy servers keep no logs.
Incognito and private windows
- Chrome, Edge and Brave: allow Protect in Incognito, or the browser will ask for a proxy login there. Go to the extensions page, then PremierVPN Protect, Details, and switch on Allow in Incognito.
- Firefox: private windows don't use the proxy until you let Protect run in them. Open the Firefox menu, then Add-ons and themes, PremierVPN Protect, and set Run in Private Windows to Allow.
Use on several networks: you can use the browser proxy from up to 3 networks at the same time, for example home, work and your phone. A network stops counting 10 minutes after you stop using it.
To stop using the proxy, switch Browser proxy off. Signing out also switches it off.
