- Click the shield icon, then Pause.
- Choose For 15 minutes, For 1 hour, or Until I turn it back on.
The icon changes while protection is paused. Click Resume in the popup to switch it back on early.
Shortcuts
- Press Alt+Shift+P to pause or resume. To change the key, open Settings, go to General, and click Change shortcut.
- Right-click the shield icon and choose Pause protection. This pauses until you turn it back on: choose Resume protection from the same menu.
If you only want blocking off on one site, trust that site instead (see Fix a site that doesn't work properly).
