Chrome, Edge or Brave: right-click the shield icon and choose Remove from Chrome (or Remove from Microsoft Edge), then confirm.
Firefox: right-click the shield icon and choose Remove Extension, then confirm.
Removing Protect also switches the browser proxy off. If you only want it off for a while, use Pause instead.
