Getting to know the PremierVPN Protect popup

Updated 16 Oct 2026 1 min read

Click the PremierVPN shield icon in your toolbar to open the popup.

At the top

  • Protected means blocking is on. Paused means it's off. Trusted site means you've switched blocking off on the site you're looking at.
  • Pause switches protection off For 15 minutes, For 1 hour, or Until I turn it back on. Click Resume to switch it back on.
  • Ads here and Trackers here count what was blocked on the page you're looking at. All sites today is today's total across all sites.

This site tab

  • Lets you trust the site you're on, so nothing is blocked there.
  • Hide an element removes something you don't want to see on the page.
  • Blocked on this page lists what Protect stopped on this page, and how many times.
  • Privacy check shows the address websites see, whether you're connected through PremierVPN, and whether WebRTC is leaking your address.

Protection tab: switch each kind of blocking on or off. All settings and trusted sites opens the full settings page.

Proxy tab: sign in with your PremierVPN account to use the browser proxy.

The number on the shield icon is how many requests were blocked on the current page. You can turn it off in Settings, under General.
